This four-year apprenticeship combines hands-on workplace experience with a recognised technical qualification delivered through a local college, giving you the skills, knowledge and experience needed to build a successful career in manufacturing and engineering.
What you will be doing
As an Apprentice Manufacturing Technician, you'll work alongside experienced technicians, engineers and team leads, learning how to assemble, maintain, test, repair and support a range of equipment and systems in a modern manufacturing environment.
Year 1 – Foundation Experience
During your first year, you'll gain valuable experience across all areas of our workshop, developing a broad understanding of our products, processes and technical disciplines.
Years 2–4 – Specialist Development
Following successful completion of your first year, you'll move into a specialist area aligned to your strengths, interests and business requirements. This decision will be made following discussions with you, our team leads, HR Business Partner and Operations Director to ensure the right career progression for you.
Specialist pathways may include:
Mechanical
Electrical
Electronics
Hydraulics
Throughout the programme, you'll continue to develop advanced technical skills while working towards the successful completion of your apprenticeship qualification.
What We Are Looking For
We're looking for motivated individuals who are passionate about learning, enjoy practical work and are ready to commit to a long-term development programme.
Essential Qualifications
A minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 5 or above (or equivalent), including English Language & Mathematics.
A genuine interest in engineering, manufacturing or technology.
