What You Need to Know
This is a hands-on mechanical role, working both offshore and onshore with service, maintenance, and operation of mechanical equipment.
You’ll be part of a rotational travel pool with defined on- and off-duty periods, working on both planned assignments and operational tasks as they arise.
The role involves real responsibility and requires you to work safely, efficiently and with high standards of quality in everything you do.
What We Are Looking For
We’re looking for a practical and skilled mechanical technician who takes a hands-on approach and enjoys solving problems.
You’re comfortable working both on your own and as part of a team. You take responsibility for getting the job done safely and properly. You handle a varied workday well and can adapt when plans change.
Some of the Key Accountabilities:
Operate, service, maintain and test mechanical equipment offshore and onshore
Perform troubleshooting, testing and repairs
Prepare and mobilize equipment for offshore operations
Contribute to planning and execution of work scopes
Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, standards and procedures
Complete reports and documentation accurately and on time
Represent the company professionally and identify improvement opportunities
Qualifications / Skills & Experience
Essential:
Relevant technical education (preferably fagbrev in a mechanical field)
Experience with maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment
Hands-on troubleshooting and testing experience
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Solid understanding of HSE and safe work practices
Preferred:
Experience from oil and gas industry
Knowledge of pumps, high-pressure systems or similar equipment
Experience with assembly, disassembly and rebuilds
