What You Need to Know

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team in Great Yarmouth. This role is key to ensuring that our products and services meet both customer expectations and internal quality standards throughout the full project lifecycle.

This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for ensuring materials, components, and finished products meet defined quality standards from receipt through to final inspection.

You will work closely with project teams, suppliers, and clients to maintain high-quality delivery, playing a vital role in supporting compliance and continuous improvement across the business.
This position is based at our Subsea Centre of Excellence on Beacon Park, Great Yarmouth.

What We Are Looking For

Some of the Key Accountabilities:

You will be able to conduct quality inspections including physical inspections, documentation review, expediting, and product release, while:

• Ensuring quality is maintained across all stages of the product lifecycle

• Raising and managaging Non-Conformances (NCRs) and support Root Cause Analysis

• Preparing and reviewing quality documentation such as Quality Plans, ITPs and NOIs

• Supporting supplier approval processes, including reviewing certifications and quality systems

• Coordinating inspections with third-party inspectors and clients

• Performing workshop audits and spot checks to ensure compliance with project requirements

• Collaborating closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Clients to ensure quality standards are achieved

• Contributing to a strong QHSE culture, aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHS standards

Qualifications / Skills & Experience

Essential

• Experience in a QA/QC inspection or similar hands-on quality role, with supporting further education qualification

• Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret dimensional reports

• Experience using measurement and inspection tools/techniques

• Strong understanding of quality documentation, certification, and traceability

• Strong organisational and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team under pressure

Desirable

• Formal technical qualification (HNC/HND or equivalent)

• Internal or Lead Auditor qualification

• Experience in subsea, oil & gas, or manufacturing environments

• Knowledge of NDE, PMI processes, or inspection specialisms

• Familiarity with D365 Quality module or similar systems
