What You Need to Know
The Technical Sales Manager will drive growth in the UKNS Subsea Controls market by maintaining key strategic accounts, developing new client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. As the primary focal point for all subsea project and service enquiries in the UK, they will attend regular operator and client meetings to provide full technical support and deliver commercially viable proposals. The role ensures long‑term client value and quality while meeting or exceeding the annual revenue and profit targets. This position is critical to achieving the Business Unit’s overall growth ambitions.
What We Are Looking For
Some of the Key Accountabilities:
Promote Proserv’s Subsea Controls business and wider product lines to grow revenue, profit and market share, including representing the company at client meetings, seminars, exhibitions and industry bodies.
Manage and maintain a broad portfolio of UK accounts, including key strategic clients, building strong relationships across development, engineering, operations and procurement teams.
Identify market potential, generate and qualify leads, and convert opportunities into firm enquiries and orders, ensuring a well‑maintained and adequately covered opportunity pipeline.
Work with the UK Sales Director to define and execute technical and commercial sales strategies, including niche market targeting and new project development outside standard controls business.
Prepare accurate, professional technical and commercial inputs for pre‑qualifications, quotations and tender submissions, and participate in related client meetings.
Maintain accurate CRM entries and contribute to sales activity, performance and market intelligence reporting, including competitor and operator activity.
Demonstrate flexibility in working hours and undertake additional reasonable duties as delegated to support business requirements.

The ability to build relations and challenge convention through imaginative thinking and ambition are paramount to the success of this role. The post holder will challenge the market and the business by demonstrating a competitive mind set and energy to drive the control sales agenda.

Essential
Minimum of 5 years’ Production Control Systems experience
Preferred
Excellent connections with local existing and potential clients.
Demonstrable track record of achievement in the O&G sector.
Ability to develop, maintain and communicate strategic sales growth plans.
Customer Relationship Management software experience.
