What You Need to Know
The Topside Service Director is responsible for leading Proserv’s global services portfolio and delivery operations across Offshore/Onshore, In-house/Field Services, and Equipment Rental. This role focuses on scaling the services and rental business while identifying new market offerings. Serving as the functional lead for Service Delivery Managers globally, the Director ensures alignment with Proserv’s strategic objectives while holding local leadership accountable for high-quality, efficient execution. This role aligns global strategy and operational excellence, ensuring consistent processes, resource optimization, and continuous improvement across all locations.
What We Are Looking For
Key Responsibilities
Business Expansion: Identify and execute entry strategies for new markets and expand aftermarket and product support services in collaboration with Commercial, Legal, and Tax teams.
Portfolio Evolution: Lead the development and diversification of the service and rental portfolio to meet market demands.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a global service delivery strategy for the BU and aligned with Proserv’s business goals.
Financial Management: Oversee regional service budgets, providing monthly consolidation and reporting of global performance metrics to senior leadership.
Client Management: Strengthen client and other stakeholder relationships by managing risks and providing technical guidance.
Operational and Performance Excellence: Drive standardization across all locations; monitor delivery processes to enhance productivity, resource utilization, and customer satisfaction.
Resource Management: Oversee all equipment and personnel resources to ensure the most efficient use of global resource capacity.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: collaborate with Business Units and functions (FP&A, HR, Commercial, QHSE and others) to promote a unified service culture and resolve localized operational challenges.
Key Accountabilities
P&L Performance: Delivery of annual revenue, margin, and profitability targets for the global Services Business Unit.
Strategic Alignment: Ensuring the Service Strategic Plan is maintained and remains fully integrated with the broader Business Unit (BU) strategy.
Process Governance: Ownership of the global Service Delivery Framework for the Business Unit, ensuring standardization and effectiveness across all geographies.
Asset & Resource Optimization: Accountable for the global utilization of personnel, equipment, and rental assets to maximize efficiency.
Technical & Safety Compliance: Ensuring safe execution and technical compliance of all service operations.
Talent Development: Define competency frameworks and drive cross border harmonization of skills and competencies to enable global resource mobility.
Financial Ownership: Ownership of global financial reporting and forecasting accuracy for services including the development of standardized service and rental rates.
Operational Compliance: Maintaining the highest standards of compliance with Proserv policies, quality systems, safety standards and operational procedures across all service locations.
Qualifications / Skills & Experience
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field
Experience
10+ years leadership experience within the Energy or Oil & Gas sectors, specifically within service-led businesses.
Proven Track record managing multi-national service operations and a remote workforce.
Direct experience in market entry strategies, including the setup of new legal entities or regional service hubs
Strong commercial background and understanding of Oil and Gas services business.
