What You Need to Know
We are seeking applications for the role of Topside Controls Service Delivery Director, a senior and critical leadership position within Proserv with accountability for the performance, alignment, and future development of our global Services Business.
This role holds global responsibility for service delivery across Offshore and Onshore Services, In-house and Field Services, and Equipment Rental, and acts as the functional leader for Service Delivery Managers across regions. It is a highly visible position with direct impact on revenue, margin, operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and Proserv’s reputation in the market.
Our Topside Controls Service Delivery Director is responsible for setting and executing a cohesive global service delivery strategy, ensuring consistent processes, performance standards, and governance while recognising the operational realities of different regions and service streams. The role owns the Business Unit P&L across all service streams and is accountable for driving profitable growth, optimising productivity, and ensuring effective utilisation of people, assets, and rental equipment globally.
What We Are Looking For
Key Responsibilities (processes performed by this position)
Develop and implement a global service delivery strategy aligned with the Business Unit’s and Proserv’s overall strategy and tailored to the specific requirements of each service stream.
Identify and expand Proserv’s global aftermarket and product support services, identifying growth opportunities and developing implementation plans in close collaboration with Commercial, Legal, and Tax teams.
Maintain and strengthen key client relationships by proactively identifying risks, operational challenges, and improvement opportunities, while providing technical guidance to ensure mutual expectations are met.
Ensure internal monitoring, training, and compliance with applicable Codes of Federal Regulations and other regulatory requirements relevant to Proserv products and services.
Own the Business Unit P&L for each of the services streams. Collaborate with regional services team to drive profitable growth and optimized productivity of local business unit assets and service personnel.
Own and manage regional service budgets and forecasts, ensuring financial performance, cost control, and effective resource allocation.
Consolidate and report global service performance metrics monthly, providing clear insights to senior leadership and holding regional Service Delivery Managers accountable for results.
Drive global service delivery excellence through continuous improvement initiatives, operational efficiency, standardisation, and innovation.
Monitor and improve the effectiveness of service delivery processes to enhance productivity, resource utilisation, and customer satisfaction.
Standardise service delivery processes while addressing the unique operational challenges associated with Offshore/Onshore, In-house/Field, and Equipment Rental services.
Optimise utilisation of service resources, including personnel, equipment, facilities, and rental assets, to maximise productivity and cost efficiency.
Oversee rental asset utilisation, maintenance, and compliance to ensure asset uptime, operational integrity, and revenue generation.
Partner closely with regional Service Delivery Managers to resolve operational challenges while maintaining alignment with global processes and performance expectations.
Collaborate across business units, functions, and geographies to promote a unified service culture and decision-making aligned with Proserv’s overall interests.
Define and maintain global competency frameworks for service delivery personnel, supporting training, career development, and operational capability.
Lead and manage a multi-national service delivery organisation supporting global clients with consistent service scopes.
Key Accountabilities (processes owned by this position)
Delivery of annual revenue, margin, and profitability targets for the global Services Business.
Development of the global service strategic plan ensuring alignment with the overall BU strategy is maintained.
Ownership of global Service Delivery processes for the Business Unit, ensuring standardisation, effectiveness, and alignment across all service streams.
Alignment of Engineering and Service Delivery processes to support operational performance, technical integrity, and safe execution.
Global accountability for rental asset utilisation, maintenance, compliance, and performance to maximise uptime and revenue.
Development and deployment of global service delivery solutions that balance standardisation with local operational requirements.
Definition, governance, and maintenance of role-specific competency requirements for service delivery personnel.
Leadership of global talent management activities, including recruitment, training, performance management, and succession planning.
Governance of operational compliance with Proserv policies, quality systems, and safety standards across all service locations.
Collaboration with HR, engineering and manufacturing, and other Business Units to develop and maintain a global technician competency management system.
Annual review and governance of global service charge-out rates to ensure competitiveness and alignment with market conditions.
Qualifications / Skills & Experience
Education
Degree in business management from an accredited University (Preferred)
Experience
Minimum of 5 years managing a services organisation supporting global client needs.
Strong commercial background and understanding of Oil and Gas services business.
