What You Need to Know
We are seeking a proactive Project Coordinator to join our Project Management team at our facility on Beacon Park, Great Yarmouth.
You will be expected to support the delivery of engineering, procurement, and construction projects. You will work closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Planners to coordinate and expedite project activities, ensuring schedules, quality standards, and client expectations are met. This is a hands-on role, requiring engagement with multiple stakeholders across engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and logistics functions.
What We Are Looking For
Some of the Key Accountabilities:
Build strong working relationships with Project Managers and EPC resources, ensuring clear communication across teamsAlign project execution with the Project Execution Plan and contractual requirements
Promote HSSE best practice, positively influencing safety culture throughout the project
Support the setup and maintenance of Risk and Change Management tools
Maintain awareness of the project schedule, identifying deviations and escalating as required
Assist in developing mitigation plans for schedule deviations or other project challenges
Coordinate with engineering to track progress and expedite activities where required
Liaise with Supply Chain to release BOMs, monitor purchase orders, and ensure timely delivery of materials
Work with manufacturing planning to allocate build slots, provide updates, and expedite completion of materials
Support logistics to ensure on-time delivery of materials to client or internal sites
Maintain accurate project status in AX12 (or equivalent)
Provide input for project reporting, KPIs, lessons learned, and continuous improvement initiatives
Support project close-out activities
Qualifications / Skills & Experience
Education:
Essential: Good standard of education including GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths (grade 5 or above)
Preferred: HNC, NVQ/SVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical disciplines
Experience & Skills:
Proven experience coordinating and delivering projects
Strong work ethic and excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experienced in liaising with multiple stakeholders across a business
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Familiarity with project execution processes and principles
Preferred:
Subsea industry experience
Experience supporting projects in EPC or related environments
Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft AX12, Primavera P6, and MS Project
Working Conditions
37.5hrs per week, with occasional extended hours to meet critical deadlines
No offshore work expected
Regular site visits to other facilities and main subcontractors during project delivery
