Assist in the development and execution of manufacturing project fulfilment activities to ensure successful delivery in line with contractual requirements, under the guidance of Project Managers or on projects assigned independently.
Work closely with cross-functional departments including Engineering, Operations, Sales, Quality, and Senior Management to support timely and cost-effective completion of assigned projects.
Ensure project requirements, timelines, and budgets are defined prior to project commencement, and support change management controls as required in collaboration with Project Managers.
Organize and coordinate project logistics to ensure materials, equipment, and resources are available as required.
Plan, manage, coordinate, and close assigned projects, including schedule, scope, and financial performance, to deliver quality outcomes on time and in accordance with customer requirements.
Support Project Managers with key project activities such as project kick-off meetings, regular project reviews, reporting, logistics coordination, invoicing support, and schedule status updates, particularly for critical path activities.
Demonstrate the ability to exercise independent judgment in managing assigned responsibilities.
Coordinate with Finance/Accounts teams to support timely milestone billing as directed by Project Managers.
Maintain project documentation and controls across all project management processes, including schedules, logistics documentation, outstanding issues registers, variation orders, and related records.
Develop a working knowledge of Proserv Business Management Systems (BMS) and provide inputs for continuous improvement, particularly in areas related to project execution and on-time delivery.
Proactively identify and recommend improvements to internal processes, tools, and systems to enhance operational efficiency and project performance.
Regularly update the Manager – Projects and/or Project Managers on project status, risks, issues, and mitigation actions for assigned tasks or projects.
Perform any other responsibilities as delegated by line management within agreed timelines, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient execution in line with business requirements.
Qualifications / Skills & Experience
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / B.E. Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical discipline, or equivalent qualification.
Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree (e.g., 7+ years of applicable experience).
5+ years of technical experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred
CAPM or PMP certification
Experience in topside/subsea Oil & Gas, particularly in controls or distribution
Experience using MS Project
Working understanding of MRP and ERP systems and workflows
Experience working with Supply Chain and Vendors to expedite deliveries
Skills & Experience
Essential
Minimum 5 years of experience in a project-based manufacturing environment, preferably Oil & Gas
Experience working in a customer-focused environment with the ability to meet customer needs effectively
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to present deliverables and project issues clearly to project teams
Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional project teams and expedite deliverables
Ability to work effectively in a team environment while demonstrating ownership, accountability, and leadership
High attention to detail with the ability to deliver accurate work with minimal errors
Strong customer relationship management skills
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to gain buy-in for proposed solutions
Demonstrated interpersonal, communication, internal negotiation, and planning skills
Proficiency in MS Office applications; awareness of scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera, MRP) and ERP systems
Preferred
Understanding of Project Management techniques, methodologies, and standards
Basic knowledge of engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and testing processes
Demonstrated leadership and team-building abilities with the capability to motivate diverse teams
Ability to build and maintain project schedules using MS Project and/or Primavera
General awareness of commercial terms and conditions, including associated risks and opportunities
Understanding of manufacturing operations flow from incoming material receiving through Ready-to-Ship (RTS)
Working knowledge of Risk Assessment and maintenance of a Risk Register
Strong MS Excel skills and familiarity with ERP/MRP workflows
