What You Need to Know

We are seeking an experienced Senior Field Service Technician L3 to support Proserv’s operations in Qatar. The role involves commissioning, servicing, testing, and maintenance of hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation systems, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will have hands-on field experience, strong technical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work professionally on customer sites while complying with Proserv’s HSE and FRESH values.

What We Are Looking For

Some of the Key Accountabilities:

The Senior Field Service Technician is responsible for the safe and efficient execution of primarily Day-to-Day inhouse services, testing, and maintenance activities for customer assets, primarily related to hydraulic control panels, pressure test units, gas boosters, instrumentation, and rotating equipment in Proserv Workshop as well as on-site services of Flushing, Pressure testing and commissioning.

The role requires close coordination with service coordinators, project engineers, and senior field personnel to ensure all documentation, tools, and equipment are prepared in advance and that service activities are completed in accordance with technical instructions, quality standards, and HSE requirements.

The technician is also accountable for accurate documentation, reporting, and customer interaction, ensuring Proserv is represented professionally at all times. Continuous improvement is expected through lessons learned, performance reviews, and adherence to company values and safety culture.

Qualifications / Skills & Experience

• Fluent in English with the ability to prepare clear technical and inspection reports.

• Proven commissioning and field service experience, preferably with WHCPs, HPUs, and control panels.

• Strong hands-on capability in calibration, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of instrumentation, hydraulic systems, pressure test units, gas boosters, and pumps (air-driven and chemical injection).

• Experienced in hydraulic flushing, pressure testing, and servicing of hoses, tubing, sampling cylinders (including testing and certification).

• Competent in preparing service documentation, inspection reports, and maintaining technical records, with working knowledge of rotating equipment such as dosing pumps.

• Dynamic, site-ready professional committed to supporting Proserv’s operations in Qatar.

Essential

• Computer skills (MS excel and MS Word), good communications, planning and organizing skills.

• Knowledge of offshore & onshore field HSE

• Min 7 years’ experience in top-side controls servicing

Preferred

• Diploma in Instruments/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering

• Min 10 years’ experience in topside controls servicing industry
