What You Need to Know
As our projects expand, we’re strengthening the link between design, engineering, and technical sales. The CAD Engineer will play a key role in supporting the Topside department at our Stavanger office, ensuring that drawings and models are consistent with contract requirements, company strategy, and project goals. You’ll work closely with project managers, engineers, and sales teams to deliver high-quality CAD work that supports efficient execution and technical clarity across disciplines.
What We Are Looking For
Some of the Key Accountabilities:
- Ensure HSSE and Quality are embedded within project
- Proven experience with SolidWorks (including assemblies, drawings, configurations)
- Knowledge of PDM and design standards is beneficial
- Assist implementing and maintaining PDM system
- Development of 2D drawings and 3D models for Topside & Sampling segments
- Internal support within 2D and 3DPreparation of drawings for technical documentation
- Provide clear design communication to manufacturing and suppliers
- Ensure project is executed in alignment with Proserv process, procedures and values
- Participate in design reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement activities
- Seek to identify opportunities to increase revenue and contribution
Qualifications / Skills & Experience
Essensial
- Relevant experience within Design engineering
- Excellent planning and organizing skills
- Problem solving oriented
- Team building and motivational skills
- Sense of urgency and Adaptability
- Critical thinking and sound judgment qualities
- Good verbal and written Norwegian and English
Preffered
- Formal education within Design Engineering. Experience may compensate for lack of formal education
- Proficient in relevant modules in MS AX ERP software
- Direct work experience in design within oil&gas
- Direct work experience in relevant design engineering areas
- PMP or APM qualification
