What You Need to Know
You will be assigned for inspection, service and repairing all kinds of pneumatic/hydraulics/chemical dosing pumps, accumulator, instrument calibration & pressure testing/flushing of the equipment's. Should be able to identify the drawings ,prepare inspection and test reports with minimal supervision and communicate with project engineers and customer when needed.
What We Are Looking For
Some of the Key Accountabilities:
- Troubleshoot, inspection and repair of all kinds of pneumatically driven pumps (strong knowledge of pneumatic pump & pump controls).
- Perform repair/testing of electrical pumps and motors, chemical injection pumps/skids, accumulators, high and medium pressure components etc. with minimal guidance.
- Complete pump stripping and installing new parts, reassembly and test.
- Perform pump service, calibration of instruments & certifications.
- Perform pressure testing & functional testing in house & at client facility
- Prepare inspection report, job instructions and spare parts listing.
- Must be able to determine parts to be replaced, testing procedures and performance details.
- Acquire Knowledge in Well Head Control Panel and Chemical Injection System Function and perform services with supervision.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on all equipment’s.
- Basic knowledge of the pump control components and the sizes of tubes through the drawings.
- Provide a high-level of communication with the Office and Maintenance teams and perform general yard facility maintenance.
- Updating and Using Relevant Knowledge - Keeping up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to the job.
Qualifications
Essential
- Trade certificate or ITI / Skill certification in Instrumentation or Mechanical
- Knowledge in English (Communication & Reporting)
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Person should have technical qualification from a recognized institution
- Min 5 years of experience in similar field and able to perform the services independently
- Ready to work on the shop floor.
Preferred
- Diploma in Mechanical/Instrumentation Engineering
- Technically sound & interested candidates with Instrument/Mechanical background
- Previous experience in similar field is an advantage
