What You Need to Know
The Project Engineer will play a key role in supporting both production activities and technical matters within the Oil & Gas sector. Responsibilities include coordinating production schedules, maintaining documentation, monitoring supplier performance, and identifying any scheduling issues or delays. The role involves close collaboration with the Operations Manager to manage workshop resources and ensure smooth execution. Regular progress updates will be provided to customers. This position requires frequent interaction with both internal teams and external stakeholders, including clients and suppliers.
What We Are Looking For
Some of the Key Accountabilities:
- Management of client relations
- Technical first line of support to customer and internal projects
- Follow up projects, documentation, delivery schedules and customer specifications
- Technical support for production; sampling systems and cylinders
- Prepare tenders for bid and sales organisation
- Contribute to development of company products
- Possible onshore/offshore surveys
- Ensure project is executed in alignment with Proserv process, procedures and values
- Plan and schedule project timelines
- Seek to identify opportunities to increase revenue and contribution
- Implement and manage project changes to achieve project outputs
- Carry out lessons learned sessions to evaluate project and assess result
- Ensure HSSE and Quality are embedded within project
Qualifications / Skills & Experience
Essential
- Engineering degree or technical experience within the O&G industry
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Problem solving mentality
- Team building and motivational skills
- Adaptability
- Sense of urgency
- Critical thinking and sound judgment qualities
- Good verbal and written Norwegian
- Good verbal and written English
Preferred
- Direct experience with D365 software
- Direct work experience in other relevant engineering area
