Inside Sales Engineer
Role Synopsis
The Inside Sales Engineer – Trading and Aftermarket is responsible for preparing quotation in AX and processing sales order in the system, and communicating to client & other functions during the process of proposal and execution. On time and accuracy are key indicator on the above process. He/she will ensure that the customer service for trading and aftermarket is treated as the most important attribute of the team and ensure that clients’ needs are clearly identified, measured and delivered against, the roles schedule to support all global sites/ region of Proserv.
Key Accountabilities (includes, but not limited to the following)
- Always lead in all aspects of compliance, EHS, Quality and customer service.
- Understand and follow work flow/ AX process all time, and always provide suggestion and support in improvising the process as per market & business evolution.
- Coordinate with remote sites and work together as team to deliver Sales quote & order on time and to full satisfaction of both internal & external client.
- With support of an engineer create AX part number and prepare sales quote in AX system and submit for an approval.
- Prepare costing sheet and coordinate with finance procurement to finish the costing.
- Submit the quote to client and follow with client to clarify any query on the quote.
- Acknowledge business email and manage business email properly between the team
- Upon client order, review with the team, and process Sales order and work with procurement team to place an order with sub vendors.
- Once material reach the store, coordinate with stores team to process the delivery to client
- Raise Sales invoice and follow with payment, and also communicate with client on the progress during the execution.
- Prepare and report monthly forecast and actual

- Zero Customer complaints
- Quotations issues <3 days Average
- Coordination with different functions

Qualifications
Essential
- Sales Background in Mechanical or Rotational Equipment
Preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline
Experience
Essential
- Two plus years’ experience in a customer service role
- Ability to multitask various high profile task and deliver on time
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
