Accountant
Role Synopsis
The Accountant is a fundamental support to the Finance function & the wider business ensuring company procedures and accounting standards are constantly met. This position also acts to support the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams where required.
Key Accountabilities (includes, but not limited to the following)
- Maintains all financial transactions within AX 2012 ERP system, including but not limited to AP, AR, Cashbook, General Ledger, Fixed Asset Ledger, Project billing, and Timesheet maintenance.
- Partner to Engineering Manager to ensure understanding of financial impacts to the business.
- Provide weekly reports on cash requirements and timesheet billing to other entities.
- Supports all internal and external financial audits on site.
- Maintains accounting controls by following and recommending improvements to existing policies and procedures.
- Prepares AP payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
- Ensures Proserv complies with all legal and regulatory reporting requirements, working with external counsel where necessary.
- Prepares and submits all required tax/regulatory reporting on time with accuracy.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications
Education
Essential
- Degree in Finance or related
Preferred
- Professional qualification CIMA/ACCA or similar
Experience 3+ yrs
Essential
- Experience working for an Indian LLP entity, with knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements
Preferred
- ERP experience, preferably AX.
- Prior experience in reputable Chartered Accountant Firm
