What You Need to Know

The Project Engineer will be responsible for providing production and technical support to both customers and internal teams within the Oil & Gas sector. This role involves planning production, documenting processes, following up with suppliers, and identifying and resolving scheduling delays or conflicts. The Project Engineer will work closely with the Operations Manager on resource and workshop management and will report progress to customers. Regular communication with both internal and external customers and suppliers is required.

What We Are Looking For

Some of the Key Accountabilities:

• Ensure HSSE and Quality are embedded within project
• Management of client relations
• Technical first line of Support to customer and internal for projects
• Technical support for production, bid and sale of Sampling Systems and Cylinders
• Prepare tenders for bid and sales organisation
• Contribute to development of company product
• Plan and schedule project timelines
• Follow up projects, documentation, delivery schedules and customer specifications
• Customer contact during production
• Seek to identify opportunities to increase revenue and contribution
• Implement and manage project changes to achieve project outputs
• Carry out lessons learned sessions to evaluate project and assess results

Qualifications / Skills & Experience

Essential

• Engineering degree or relevant experience project engineering (Oil & Gas)
• Experience can compensate for a lack of formal education
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• Problem solving oriented
• Critical thinking ans sounds judgment qualities
• Team building and motivational skills
• Good verbal and written Norwegian and English

Preferred

• Direct experience with D365 software
• Direct work experience in other relevant engineering areas
