Accounts Internship
Accounts Internship is a fundamental support to the Finance function & the wider business ensuring company procedures and accounting standards are constantly met.
Key Accountabilities (includes, but not limited to the following)
- Register and acknowledge the invoices received in “accounts payable” mailbox
- Maintenance of “accounts payable” mailbox and folders in organized and timely manner
- Assist in Processing of PO based invoices after relevant checks and inputting information in Microsoft AX accounting system
- Assist Finance assistants for follow up in case of variance between purchase order and Invoice
- Assist in Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Assist in preparing various reports related to pending or open items
- Assist in follow up for approval of invoices posted but not approved
- Perform any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements

Qualifications
Education/Skills
- Bachelor of commerce
- 0-1 year experience
- Work unsupervised, and to take responsibility for effectiveness of own work
- Respond effectively to demands of a high and varied work load
- Demonstrable analytical and problem solving skills
- Will be an enthusiastic and proactive
- Excellent oral and written communicator with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels internally and externally
- Flexible approach requiring the ability to support international operations across multiple time zones and a variety of cultures
- Approachable and acts with integrity
- Effective team player
Experience
- Understanding about book-keeping and accounting
- Basic Knowledge in Microsoft Office package
- Knowledge about ERP is added advantage.
