What We Are Looking For
Some of the Key Accountabilities:
- In-house, onsite & offshore calibration, repair & maintenance of customer and Proserv owned equipment
- Scheduled re-calibrations/test of customer and Proserv owned equipment
- Carry out all works in accordance with defined works procedures and quality, health & safety requirements, also Proserv policies.
- Work together as a team and individually where required to maintain an organised and effective department.
- Carry out in house and customer training on the use and maintenance of Proserv owned equipment, both within Proserv’s facilities or customers own base of operations.
- Liaise with customers and suppliers as required to satisfactorily complete each work scope.
- Encourage and assist colleagues in keeping a clean, safe and organised work area.
- Provide technical support to operations team, using initiative and experience to identify solutions to technical issues which may arise.
- Perform any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by line management within a time frame specified in a safe and effective manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are capable and deemed competent to do so.
- Potential ad hoc offshore/overseas work scopes, either individually or as part of a team.
Skills & Experience
Essential
Previous experience in a similar role, working with electrical, pressure and dimensional calibration equipment.
- PC literate
- Good communication skills
- UK driver’s license
Desirable
Electrical qualification/experience with electrical circuitry and testing.
- Experience with cleanliness standards and working to achieve these.
- BOSIT/FOET/HUET/CA-EBS/Norwegian escape chute/MIST
