What You Need to Know
At our Cumbernauld facility, we specialize in designing advanced automation control systems for data acquisition, processing, user interface development, and seamless integration with external vendor systems.
Graduate Program Overview
Kickstart your career in the energy and control industries with Proserv’s Graduate Program. Over 18–24 months, you’ll gain hands-on experience across various engineering departments, developing skills that will shape your future in a rapidly evolving industry.
What You’ll Gain
As a graduate, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Work on site: Participate in the installation, commissioning, and servicing of systems at customer sites, both onshore and offshore.
- Travel the world: Experience our operations in other Proserv locations across the UK and internationally.
- Innovate: Contribute to the development of cutting-edge products and solutions for the energy sector.
- Expand your skills: Benefit from continuous training, including certifications like BOSIET, MIST, and courses on advanced technologies.
You’ll primarily work within our Project, Hardware, and Service departments, but you’ll also gain exposure to other business areas such as Finance, Project Management, and Sales.
Key Focus Areas
Projects
Design and implement automation and control systems for new and existing metering solutions, leveraging advanced technologies to monitor and control industrial processes in the energy sector.
Hardware
Develop interfaces between SCADA software and electronic hardware to ensure seamless communication and functionality tailored to customer needs.
Service & Support
Deliver exceptional customer support to maintain system performance. This includes:
- Providing security software updates.
- Advising on system operations.
- Resolving bugs or technical issues.
Drive the Technology Transition
Many customers rely on outdated technology and need encouragement to modernize their systems. As a graduate, you’ll play a key role in advocating for and implementing cutting-edge solutions to drive industry-wide innovation.
