What you need to know
The BDM will be responsible for developing the Norwegian rental & service business delivered by Proserv Stavanger. We see great potential for growth and are looking for someone with the grit and determination to go out there and help us succeed further.
It is a great advantage if you have experience from service and/or rental of Topside pressure and flushing equipment – and having a large network will help you stand out and succeed.
The role requires initiative, good promoting skills, and the ability to work systematically. In joining our team, you will part of an extended team of people working to develop Proserv`s business; both locally in Stavanger and globally across different Proserv sites. You will also work closely with local coordinators that handle service jobs and rental orders.
Key Accountabilities (Includes, but not limited to the following)
In this role, you will drive business growth by increasing awareness of our rental park, the services we provide and helping us boost revenue, profit, and market share.
You will build strong relationships with key clients, positioning Proserv favourably for future projects and expanding our sales opportunities. Keeping our sales pipeline active and meeting budget goals will be crucial.
Client visits will be essential. In that you will promote our rental park and services, prepare detailed plans for each visit, and follow up to maximize sales opportunities. Keeping key account plans updated is important.
You will respond to customer inquiries, provide necessary information, and work with the proposals team to ensure our bids are competitive.
Additionally, you will handle other tasks assigned by management, ensuring they are completed safely and efficiently.
Qualifications / Skills & Experience
Essential
- Technical / mechanical background with (onshore or offshore) field experience.
- Experience of working in a sale targeted environment.
- Ability to work on own initiative as extensive amount of time will be spent working independently due to nature of role and travel involved.
- Able to work effectively with proposals team and project engineers.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Flexible with working hours as working out with normal hours of business will be required occasionally.
- Good presentation and Report writing skills.
- Good computer skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Preferred
- Sales Management experience.
- Knowledge and experience of working in the Oil and Gas industry.
