What You Need to Know
Our workshop consists of several specialized teams: Service, Rental, Lab, and Production. The Mechanical Technician is responsible for performing mechanical work, construction, and maintenance of test and control units for project and rental activities. The Mechanic ensures a high standard of technical equipment, making sure that work tasks and associated documentation are completed according to current standards, requirements, and specifications.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Mechanic Technician to join our dynamic team at Proserv Stavanger. Opportunities may arise for ad-hoc offshore/overseas work scopes, either individually or as part of a team
Some of the Key Accountabilities:
- Make sure that the various workplaces are kept in order
- Perform mechanical work in service, rental, overhaul and production of pumps and high pressure systems
- Calibration of components and devices
- Perform pressure and function testing of products
- Perform mechanical work in accordance with the company’s and/or customer’s procedures
- Create work reports and product certificates
- Assist colleagues when necessary to achieve efficiency and high standards for the company’s products
- Collaboration with other departments in the company to suggest modification of modification of production and/or equipment
- Carry out all tasks in accordance with required Quality, Health and Safety requirements
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain an organized and efficient department
- Perform other work tasks in Proserv in addition to the above at the request of Workshop Manager
Qualifications / Skills & Experience
Essential education/experience in a similar position
· Mechanical certificate
· 3-5 years of relevant professional experience
· Relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal education
· Master word/excel
· Master Norwegian and English, written and oral
· Work without supervision and take responsibility for working safe and efficient
